Gagging Over Givenchy... Yet Again

DOG PRINTS, CORSET BOOTS, AND SHORTS IN THE WINTER... OH MY!!!  I have nothing to really say about this collection because I am still working on picking my jaw up from the ground.  I have always been a fan of fashionistas/tos that are able to make particular pieces of attire transitional for different climates.  It's a major aesthetic of what my wardrobe is.  The collection is FIRE, and I need a piece of EVERYTHING!!!

The Face To Watch

Hidetoshi Nakakata
I have been saving this man in my archives for some time.. Yes, its true.. I think that Japanese men are some of the most beautiful men on the planet, but even I am picky...  With that being said, I waited to post anything about him to see if he was just a "one note/one season wonder," clearly he is not.  I first mentioned Hidetoshi on my very first site.  It was the new men of Calvin Klein's latest underwear line.  Model/Actor Mechad Brooks  of this new group seemed to be the front runner with his career, so I paid closer attention to him.  As I began to post more and more posts on this new site, I began noticing a familiar face reappearing.. The handsome mug of Mr. Nakata.  Althought Mechad was making a name for himself more and more on screen, Hidetoshi was busy doing his own thing being who knows what, but wearing all of the most current collections.. Some before they were even available to the masses.  With that, my mind was made up.. It's now time for YOU to recognize this previous Japanese fottball player for more than just that an athlete, but a style icon as well.  CATCH IT!!!.

GRUNGY CLERGY???

Stepping  slightly away from their chic rocker grunge (as I call it) look, Dean and Dan attempt to move forward with their  latest (fall 2011) collection, incorporating a MAJOR trend that's happening with more high fashion lines.  See if you can tell what it is..

"Rudy's Reed"

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
You know the saying "Cleanliness is next to Godliness." That was my absolute motto for today.  Although it was a somber, damp day here in Atlanta, I was happy... Maybe its because I actually love gloomy days.  Aside from the soothing dreary weather, I received some good news about a few upcoming gigs.  My intentions were to enlighten you guys with coverage from the past fashion week in Paris, and so far I have been doing that. But after I received my phone call, my state of mind shifted.  Next Monday I have a meeting with a company that will help me generate more money for The Blueberry Cafe(my flats nickname).  Immediately, I pulled back the brakes on updating the site and felt the urge to clean my closet so I wont be so overwhelmed when it came time to get dressed for this approaching day.  Now, I am not a dirty, or messy person by any means, but being that I hardly ever speak about myself on here(I guess that should change), I felt I would invite you more into more world, or at least what I was up to.

A week ago, I did a shoot, and was a tad bit lazy putting things away, that I borrowed from my own wardrobe.  Well, today I decided to put them back, just in case I decided I wanted to wear something from the pulled garments (slim chance).  Anyways, I began putting the stuff back, and as the song goes, "One thing leads to another..." And there I went. Cleaning the entire damn closet.
